Appium : Port already in use Error
If you see such error in logs of appium that means the appium session was killed forcefully or it might have crashed unexpectedly.
Kill the process named ‘node’ from task manager. If you still face this issue then follow these steps:
a) Open CMD and type : netstat –aon|findstr 4723
b) You will get the process Id.
Then go to task manager>process (Make sure PID is visible in columns) and kill that process.
I specifically fixed this problem by killing nodejs process from task manager.
